We raise about 3-6 litters per year, with the goal being to produce the next generation
of show dogs for ourselves. We do however place several pets every year in loving homes, since not every puppy is destined to be a show dog.
Pet Puppies
What makes a Pet/Companion puppy from Silhouette special?
They typify the breed. They were bred to be champions, but not every puppy can be a show dog.
Our puppies are usually champion sired and often have a champion dam
To the untrained eye, many are indistinguishable from their champion relatives.
Typically they are 3 months to 1 year of age - still an ideal age for adapting to a new home.
Our pet puppies come with:
Health guarantee through 1 year of age
Limited AKC registration
Up to date on shots (age-appropriate; usually DHPP complete series & rabies)
Sometimes already spayed/neutered (always required by 8mos of age)
Microchipped
Lifetime breeder support and advice from my 15+yrs experience
Receive the same care and socialization as our show puppies
priced starting at $2000-3000. Occasional exceptions for special puppies that need particular homes
We do not ship pet puppies, but can sometimes arrange to meet at a dog show on the east coast

Retiring Adults
In order to keep our numbers low and provide our dogs with the one on one attention they deserve, it is sometimes necessary for us to
place an older pom in a home where they will be the center of attention when they are retired from breeding.
These girls, who are often champion producers or champions themselves, are spayed before placement, and placed in homes which will
be suited to their individual temperaments. Since my dogs spend time in my home as pets, these are not "kennel dogs".
Our retirees are:
Often retired champions or the sire/dam of champions
Up to date on shots
Already spayed/neutered and recent dental cleaning
Any known vices/health conditions disclosed
Recently vet checked
Microchipped
Lifetime breeder support and advice from my 15+yrs experience
Received the same care and socialization as my show dogs - which many of them are!
Priced from $500 (cost of spay/dental) to $800 depending on age and needs
We do not ship retirees, but can sometimes arrange to meet at a dog show on the east coast

Show Puppies
We occasionally have show quality or show prospect puppies available to select homes for breeding/showing. Your best chance at obtaining such a puppy is to contact us
ahead of time and keep in touch, or to inquire about a specific puppy or specific litter. If you are interested in a show puppy, please email me at silhouettepomeranians@gmail.com and introduce yourself and your breeding program. See our Bred By page to view some of the dogs we have placed in show homes. Our puppies are evaluated against the American Kennel Club standard for the Pomeranian and represented as show quality in relation to that. If your country's standard differs please ask about your country's specific concerns but be aware I cannot guarantee that a given puppy meets every country's standard. I make every effort to be sure I describe each puppy accurately and provide photos and video when possible.
