Bitches are the backbone of every breeding program. At Silhouette it is no different! While we love
our pretty boys, we know we would never have any babies if it weren't for the girls. We try our
best to breed girls who have qualities we admire, with strong pedigrees full of top producers, and we try to select for
free whelping good mothers. The girls we keep are almost exclusively free whelping.
This hopefully gives us our best chance in the whelping box. We place our girls in retirement homes around
